16-Y/O Girl Attempts Battle with Charles County Officer


On June 17 at 6:07 p.m., Officer C. Long was working at St. Charles Town Center, located at 11110 Mall Circle in Waldorf, when he attempted to arrest a 16-year-old Waldorf girl for disorderly conduct. The girl pulled away and punched the officer in the chest. She was subsequently subdued and placed under arrest.

The girl was charged with disorderly conduct, trespassing, resisting arrest and assault on a police officer and released to the custody of a family member. Officer Long was uninjured.
