MSP Reports for St. Mary's County


On Friday, September 22, 2006 at 8:49 hours, TFC Fleetwood responded to the California Walmart parking lot for a reported theft. The victim advised that while shopping, someone had entered his vehicle and stole the Lifesafe Interlock Controller. The device will be entered into the National Crime Information Center computer as stolen.

On Friday, September 22, 2006 at 3:56 pm, TFC Grimes responded to the 22000 block of Point Lookout Road, Leonardtown, for a reported assault and destruction of property. Investigation revealed that the suspect exited her residence and punched the victim in the face because she believed two adult sibling were about to get into a fight. The suspect then went back into the residence. When the victim confronted the suspect, the suspect went outside with a baseball bat and smashed the windshield on the victim’s vehicle. The investigation is open pending charges.

On Friday, September 22, 2006 at 5:11 pm, TFC Nims stopped a vehicle on Route 235 at Rescue Lane, Hollywood, when the driver was observed not wearing a seatbelt. During conversation with the driver, Robert Reed Blake, 18, of Brandywine, the handle of a baseball bat was observed protruding from under the driver’s seat. Investigation revealed the bat was not being used for its intended purpose. Mr. Blake was arrested and charged with concealed deadly weapon. He was taken to the detention center and held pending a bond review.
