MSP Reports for Calvert County


PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. - The Prince Frederick Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.

BURGLARY: On 12-12, between 6:00 AM and 3:25 PM, an unknown culprit entered a residence on Chaneyville Rd., Owings, and removed a box of computer discs, a necklace, a Comcast digital receiver, a Sylvania DVD/VCR player, a 15" LCD tv, and a Sony digital camera. TPR Laziuck is handling the investigation.

THEFT: During the overnight hours of 12-13, an unknown culprit removed an 18' flatbed trailer from a warehouse area on Ketch Rd., Prince Frederick. TPR Laziuck is handling the investigation.

ATTEMPTED MOTOR VEHICLE THEFT: On 12-15, between midnight and 8:00 AM, an unknown culprit attempted to steal a vehicle from a driveway on Mary Ann Dr., Owings. Sixty CD's were reported stolen from the vehicle. TPR Roy is handling the investigation.

PWID COCAINE: On 12-16, 12:28 AM, Rt. 231, Prince Frederick, TFC Bowling stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. The operator, Tysean Larmar Washington, 18, of Bryans Rd., MD, was found to be wanted by the Charles Co. Sheriff's Office on a FTA warrant. Incident to arrest, suspected marijuana was located on his person. Once at the Prince Frederick Barrack, a secondary search was conducted. During this search, five baggies of suspected crack-cocaine were located in his sock. Mr. Washington was charged with possession with intent to distribute cocaine, possession of marijuana, and possession of CDS paraphernalia. After processing, he was transported to the CCDC to await a commissioner's hearing.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On 12-16, 12:46 PM, Rt. 2/4, Port Republic, TPR Towers stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. Assisted at the scene by TFC Slifer, a consent search was granted by the operator. During this search, suspected marijuana and CDS paraphernalia were recovered from the vehicle. Arrested at that time for possession of marijuana and CDS paraphernalia was Desmond Alexander Lloyd Walsh, 22, of Mitchellville, MD. After processing, he was transported to the CCDC to await a commissioner's hearing.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On 12-17, 12:57 AM, H. G. Trueman Rd., Lusby, TFC Bowling stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation. A MVA check revealed that the operator, Brian Eugene Grimes, 26, of Pasadena, MD, was driving on a suspended license. Incident to arrest, suspected marijuana was located in the vehicle. Mr. Grimes was then charged with possession of marijuana. After processing, he was transported to the CCDC to await a commissioner's hearing.

THEFT: During the overnight hours of 12-18, an unknown culprit forcibly entered a vehicle on Lancer Ct., Dunkirk, and removed a wallet containing personal ID's and credit cards. TPR Thompson is handling the investigation.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: On 12-19, approximately 9:15 PM, an unknown culprit used a BB gun to damage the sliding glass door to a residence on Evergreen Rd., Lusby. TFC Lass is handling the investigation.

POSSESSION OF COCAINE: On 12-21, 1:30 AM, Gunsmoke Trl., Lusby, TPR Towers stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. A computer check revealed that the operator was driving on a revoked license. Incident to arrest, CDS paraphernalia containing suspected cocaine was located in the vehicle. Arrested at that time for possession of cocaine and CDS paraphernalia was Joshua David Billingsley, 21, of Lusby, a passenger in the vehicle. After processing, he was transported to the CCDC to await a commissioner's hearing.
