MECHANICSVILLE, Md. - According to the St. Mary's County Sheriff's Department, on Thursday, Dec. 21 at approximately 1:00 p.m., Road Patrol Deputies responded to Copsey's Seafood Market on Three Notch Road in Mechanicsville for the report of an armed robbery. The officers determined that a black male wearing dark clothing entered the establishment with a handgun and demanded money. The suspect then fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Detectives from the St. Mary's County Bureau of Criminal Investigations (BCI) are investigating the incident.
