St. Mary's County Sheriff's Reports


LEONARDTOWN, Md. - The St. Mary's County Sheriff's Department today released the following incident and arrest reports.

Sheriff's Office Deputies were informed by citizens, who reside in the area of Loveville Road, of an on going problem with strangers arriving at their residences asking for money and transportation. Deputies increased patrols in this area and encountered one of the two subjects described. Deputy Eric Walker located James Johnson Morgan (Age 41 of Mechanicsville) on Loveville Road, going door to door. Suspect Morgan stated he was "looking for a ride home". A glass Crack Cocaine smoking device was located on his person and he was arrested.

Deputy Christopher Byrd responded to a Lexington Park grocery store for the reported theft. It was determined that Patricia Ann Holt (Age 30 of Loveville, Md.) had stolen five (5) cans of Crab Meat and two (2) bottles of oysters. The value of the theft was $95.00.

Gregory Benjamin Poling (Age 21 of Lexington Park) was charged on a Criminal Summons by Deputy Jaime Reithmeyer for Possession of Marijuana.

Deputy Harold Young responded to a Lexington Park neighborhood for the reported disturbance. Upon arrival he encountered Otis Floyd White III (Age 26 of Lexington Park) acting disorderly and disturbing the peace. He was told numerous times to cease and he failed to follow those orders. He was arrested when several other neighbors exited their home to find the source of the disturbance. Suspect White was intoxicated.

George Vernon Maddox Jr. (Age 26 of Lexington Park) was charged on a Criminal Summons for Property Destruction. The charges were served by Deputy Andrew Holton.

Deputy Earl Young responded to the reported Violation of a Protective Order at a Lexington Park home. He discovered that the Temporary Protective Order issued by the District Court had in fact been violated. Suspect Sterling Eugene Bollinger III (Age 35 of Lexington Park) was arrest.

Deputy Jaime Reithmeyer arrested Jeremy Mark Brower (Age 22 of California, Md.) for an open Failure to Appear warrant.

Deputy Shawn Moses arrested Clifton Nathaniel Harris Jr. (Age 28 of Lexington Park) on two (2) open warrants through the Circuit Court.

John Lee Farrell Jr. (Age 24 of Chaptico, Md.) was charged on a Grand Jury Indictment for Burglary First Degree, Property Destruction and Theft. The charges were obtained by Detective Clayton Safford and served by Deputy David Cowan.

Gracie Marie Knott (Age 41 of Laplata, Md.) was arrested on an open warrant for Failure to Appear. The arrest was made by Corporal Katherine Dassing.

Deputy David Yingling conducted a vehicle stop for suspicious activity and identified the operator as Theresa Mary Maguire (Age 45 of Pomfret, Md.). A computer check revealed her driving status was suspended. She was placed under arrested and a search incident to that arrest revealed a quantity of crack cocaine, a quantity of marijuana. Once Deputy Sarah Lacey discovered the illegal substance, Suspect Maguire assaulted her in an effort to preventing the Deputy from recovering the drugs.

Off Duty Deputy Lieutenant Daniel D. Alioto responded to a single vehicle accident on Medley's Neck Road. Upon making contact with the operator, Robert Eli Noll (Age 46 of California, MD) Suspect Noll displayed outward signs of intoxication. Deputy Harold Young responded to the scene and continued the investigation, which led to Suspect Noll's arrest for Driving While Intoxicated. Suspect Noll is a repeat offender.
