Four Calvert Merchants Suspended for Alcohol Violations


PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. - Three establishments were fined and suspended, for selling alcohol to minors, at the March 22, 2007 Calvert County Liquor Board hearing:

Fox Run Liquors, Prince Frederick
$500 fine, 3 day suspension on April 2, 3, 4

Town Center Beer & Wine, Dunkirk
$500 fine, 3 day suspension on April 2, 3, 4

Fastop, Solomons
$500 fine, 3 day suspension on April 2, 3, 4

Additionally, the Tiki Bar in Solomons was found to be in violation of operating portable bars after last year’s opening. The portable bars had been approved for the opening weekend only. They were fined $500 and suspended for three days, May 1, 2 and 3, 2007.
