MSP Reports for Calvert County


PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. - The Prince Frederick Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.

THEFT: During the overnight hours of 6-5, an unknown culprit removed $625.00 worth of lumber from a construction site on Sixes Rd., Prince Frederick. TPR Towers is handling the investigation.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: During the overnight hours of 6-5, an unknown culprit used a piece of asphalt to break a window at Bay State Insulation, Owings. TPR Towers is handling the investigation.

TRESPASSING: On 6-9, 4:40 AM, TFC Lass responded to the Verizon Wireless substation on Gray’s Rd., Port Republic, for a trespassing complaint. After illuminating the tower, TFC Lass observed 2 individuals sitting on a platform. Once on the ground, the two were arrested for trespassing; they were: David Andrew Rhea, 43, of Port Republic, and a 17-year-old male, of Port Republic. After processing, the juvenile was released to a parent. Mr. Rhea was transported to the CCDC to await a commissioner’s hearing.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: During the overnight hours of 6-9, an unknown culprit removed the gas cap, bent the driver’s side mirror, bent the front license plate, and placed a bicycle on the roof of a vehicle parked on 11th St., North Beach. TPR Sauceman is handling the investigation.

PURSE SNATCHING: On 6-10, approximately 1:00 AM, as the victim was walking to FaStop, Bayside Rd., Chesapeake Beach, two men, wearing ski masks and dark clothing, walked up behind her, snatched her purse, and then ran from the scene. TPR Stern is handling the investigation.
