MSP Reports for Calvert County


PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. (October 25, 2007) - The Prince Frederick Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On Oct. 17, 2:17 AM, Rt. 231, Prince Frederick, TPR Laziuck stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. The operator, Dorcas Edith Cantrell, 39, from Shadyside, was subsequently arrested for DUI. Incident to arrest, a baggie of suspected marijuana was recovered from her purse. After being processed for possession of marijuana and DUI, she was transported to the Calvert County Detention Center (CCDC) to await a commissioner’s hearing.

BURGLARY: Between Oct. 19 @ 5:00 PM and Oct. 20 @ 1:00 PM, an unknown culprit forcibly entered an office of Howlin Concrete, Rt. 260, Owings. Nothing has been reported stolen at this time. TPR Saucerman is handling the investigation.

POSSESSION OF CRACK-COCAINE: On Oct. 22, 2:36 AM, Rt. 4, Dunkirk, TFC White stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. Assisted by TFC Ewig, the operator, Anthony Joseph Pessagno, Jr., 42, of Owings, was subsequently arrested for DUI. A secondary search at the Prince Frederick Barrack produced a cigarette wrapper containing suspected crack-cocaine on Mr. Pessagno’s person. He was then charged with possession of crack-cocaine. After processing, he was transported to the CCDC to await a commissioner’s hearing.
