MSP Reports for Calvert County


PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. (Feb. 14, 2008) - The Prince Frederick Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.

ILLEGAL DRUGS: On Feb. 8 at 8:15 am, Rrosilee Mary Bryant, 46, of St. Leonard, was at the MSP Prince Frederick Barrack being processed for an arrest warrant for theft. During her processing, Ms. Bryant was searched and found to have CDS in her possession. Ms. Bryant was then charged with Possession of CDS. She was processed and taken to the Calvert County Detention Center pending a hearing with the district court commissioner.

NO LICENSE, ILLEGAL DRUGS: On Feb. 9 at 12:28 pm, Trooper J. Towers stopped a Ford Explorer on Calvert Towne Drive & Tranquil Court, Prince Frederick. Trooper Towers had noticed that none of the occupants, nor the driver of the Ford Explorer, had their seat belts on. During the traffic stop, it was determined that the driver, identified as Robert Doral Harrod, 20, of Prince Frederick, was operating the motor vehicle without a driver’s license. Harrod was then placed under arrest for driving without a license. Search incident to arrest revealed a white folded napkin which was located between the driver’s seat and console. Within the napkins, suspected CDS was located. At that time, the two passengers in the vehicle, Keith Montgomery Lucombe, 18, of Huntingtown, and Carl Savoy Smith, 40, of Owings, were arrested for possession of CDS. All three subjects were transported to the Prince Frederick Barrack for processing and then transported to the Calvert County Detention Center to await a hearing with the district court commissioner.

BURGLARY: On Feb. 9 at 3:10 pm, TFC M. Murphy responded to Barstow Road, Prince Frederick, in reference to a burglary from a garage. The victim advised that someone had gained entrance into their storage garage and stole numerous tools and household goods valued at $1,000. There are no suspects at this time. The investigation is continuing.

MALICIOUS DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: On Feb. 10 at 8:35 pm, Trooper J. Stern took a report of a malicious destruction of property from the victim who had responded to the Prince Frederick Barrack. The victim advised Trooper Stern that sometime during the day on February 10 someone had spray-painted his garage with red paint. There are currently no suspects. The investigation is continuing. The property destroyed was valued at $200.00.

BURGLARY: On Feb. 11 at 12:13 am, TFC C. Bowling responded to the M&T Bank in Prince Frederick for a reported bank alarm. TFC C. Bowling and Corporal J. S. Bowman arrived at the bank and observed that someone had damaged the back door and it was partially open. An unknown suspect had attempted to pry the door open, but never gained entrance into the bank. It was also noted by TFC Bowling and Corporal Bowman, that there was damage to the telephone pole near MD Route 2/4. After notifying the bank authorities, TFC Bowling and Corporal Bowman left the scene. Shortly afterwards, a representative from M&T Bank called the State Police and advised that their telephone lines had also been cut by the suspect(s). The investigation is continuing.
