LEONARDTOWN, Md. (June 6, 2008) - The St. Mary's County Sheriff's Department yesterday released the following incident and arrest report.
SEX OFFENDER VIOLATION: On June 2, 2008 the Washington DC Metropolitan Police arrested Jeffrey Allen Spalding, age 48, with no fixed address, on controlled dangerous substance possession charges. On June 5th St. Mary's County BCI detectives extradited Spalding back to St. Mary's County on a 2005 warrant for failing to notify the sex offender registry of an address change and violation of probation. Detectives charged Spalding with 4 additional counts of failing to register as a sex offender and he is incarcerated at the St. Mary's County Detention Center.
