Calvert County Sheriff's Reports


PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. (June 15, 2009) - The Calvert County Sheriff's Office today released the following incident and arrest reports.

THEFT: Unknown suspect(s) removed almost $1000 worth of tools from a vehicle that was parked at a home on Gringo Court in Lusby between June 9 and 10. A generator and two Hilti hammer drills were taken. Dep. Christopher McDonough is investigating.

THEFT: Seven solar lights valued at $30 were stolen from outside a home on Susan Lane in Lusby sometime on June 9. Anyone with information is asked to contact Dep. Christopher McDonough at 410-535-2800.

THEFT: Two juvenile males, one fifteen and one seventeen, both from Lusby, were each charged with theft on youth reports after it was determined by Dep. James Norton that they had stolen two bicycles from the Cove Point pool on June 12 at around 6:00 p.m. The bikes were returned to the two juvenile victims. The suspects were charged and released to a parent.

THEFT: A victim reported to DFC David Denton that unknown suspect(s) stole her catalytic converter off of her truck while it was parked at the Route 2 Park and Ride in Sunderland between 5:40 a.m. and 6:40 p.m. on June 12. The converter is valued at $510.

DOP: Dep. Aundrea Lawton investigated a destruction of property at a home on Dusk Drive in Prince Frederick. Sometime between 9:30 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. on June 14 unknown suspect(s) bent 15 fence poles valued at $210. Dep. Lawton is investigating.
