LA PLATA, Md. (Dec. 09, 2009) - The La Plata Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest report.
POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On December 8 at approximately 0952 hours, Trooper B. Sorenson was sitting stationary on southbound Route 301, north of Vernon Road, when he observed a gold Buick Century with the driver not restrained by a seat belt. Trooper Sorenson stopped the vehicle, made contact with the driver, Christopher Alexander Johnson, 24 years, of Ft. Washington, when he smelled a strong odor of burnt marijuana. Johnson was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana and paraphernalia.
