MSP Reports for St. Mary's County


LEONARDTOWN, Md. (Jan. 8, 2009) - The Leonardtown Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.

BURGLARY: On Tuesday, January 6, 2009 at 8:22 am, Tpr. M. Adams responded to the 46000 block of Corporate Way in Lexington Park for the reported burglary. Upon arrival, contact was made with the construction foreman, 39, of Pasadena, who advised unknown suspect(s) gained entry by cutting the pad locks on a HITT Contracting storage container on the construction site. No construction materials were stolen. A check of other containers, construction equipment and the building under construction revealed no additional abnormalities. The investigation continues.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY: On Wednesday, January 7, 2009 at 4:03 pm, Tpr. E. Page responded to the 43000 block of Woodpecker Lane in Hollywood for the reported residential burglary. Upon arrival, contact was made with the male complainant, 55, of Hollywood, who advised there were signs that someone had gained entry to the basement. There was no evidence that anything was missing from the residence. The investigation continues.

WARRANT ARREST: On Wednesday, January 7, 2009 at 12:50 pm, Stephen Samuel Estep, 41, of Lothian was arrested by Tpr. N. Gresko on an outstanding bench warrant (T3-13560) for Failing to Follow Conditions of Probation. The original charge was DUI. Mr. Estep was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT ARREST: On Thursday, January 8, 2009 at 12:45 am, Kasha Lashoun Hill, 39, of Lexington Park was arrested by Tpr. J. Hardesty on an outstanding arrest warrant (T3-13747) issued by the District Court in Leonardtown on December 10, 2008. The original charge was Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle. Ms. Hill was served the warrant at the St. Mary's County Detention Center where she is incarcerated on unrelated charges. She is being held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
