Pedestrian Killed in Waldorf


WALDORF, Md. (Feb. 20, 2009)—William Patrick Ticer, 31, of Waldorf, was crossing Smallwood Drive near O'Donnell Place on Feb. 19 just before 7:54 p.m. when he was struck by a GMC Yukon which was traveling east on Smallwood Drive. The driver of the SUV stopped and called police. Paramedics arrived and pronounced Mr. Ticer deceased.

Cpl. R. H. Taylor of the Charles County Sheriff's Office Traffic Operations Unit is continuing the investigation.
