MSP Reports for St. Mary's County


LEONARDTOWN, Md. (Feb. 09, 2010) - The Leonardtown Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) recently released the following incident and arrest reports.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Wednesday, January 27 at 5:15 pm, Cecelia Marshall, 45, of Mechanicsville was arrested by TFC C. M. Evans on an outstanding Arrest Warrant (T3-14300) issued by the District Court in Anne Arundel County on November 13, 2009. The warrant was issued for Second Degree Escape. She was taken into custody at the Walmart Store in California after being arrested for unrelated charges. She was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where she was held pending a bond review before the District Court.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Sunday, January 31 at 11:40 pm, Omigar Ralph Jefferies, Jr., 25, of Park Hall was arrested by TFC D. S. Brill on a District Court Bench Warrant (T3-14297) issued on January 22. The original charge was Failing to Pay a Deferred Payment in the amount of $200.00. Mr. Jefferies was taken into custody at the Days Inn in Lexington Park and was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Monday, February 1 at 8:50 am, Patricia Ann Holt, 33, of Loveville was arrested by TFC K. D. Lashley on a Bench Warrant (T3-14274). The original charge was due to the defendant Failing to Appear for Violation of Probation hearing for Theft under $100.00. Ms. Holt was taken into custody at her residence in Loveville and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where she was held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

THEFT UNDER $100: On Monday, February 1 at 8:48 am, a female complainant, 63, of Lexington Park responded to the Leonardtown Barracks and reported to Sgt. R. W. Redmond that unknown suspect(s) stole the rear Maryland registration plate (2DAJ42) from her green Ford Taurus between January 29 at 5:00 pm and 6:30 am on February 1. The registration plate has been entered into NCIC.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Monday, February 1 at 9:50 am, Tyre Ahkeem Herbert, 19, of Callaway was arrested by TFC M. A. Moore on a Bench Warrant (T3-14295) for Failing to Appear in District Court in Leonardtown on January 22. The original charge was Driving Uninsured Vehicle. Mr. Herbert was taken into custody at his residence in Callaway and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

DRUG ARREST: On Tuesday, February 2 at 4:23 am, James Joseph Bucci, Jr., 48, of Hollywood was arrested by TFC D. S. Brill for Possession of Cocaine. TFC Brill and Tpr. J. S. Gibson responded to the residence in the 23000 block of Mervell Dean Road in Hollywood for the reported Disturbance. Upon arrival, contact was made with the female complainant, 33, of Hollywood who advised Mr. Bucci came home and had in his possession Cocaine and an argument ensued. Mr. Bucci was taken into custody, placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

THEFT UNDER $100: On Wednesday, February 3 at 6:56 pm, a male complainant, 50, of California responded to the Leonardtown Barracks and reported to Cpl. D. B. Peck that unknown suspect(s) stolen the front Maryland registration plate (M918265) from his gold Lexus RX300. He advised the registration plate was last seen on the vehicle on January 27 and noticed it was missing on February 3 at 7:30 am. The registration plate was entered in NCIC and the investigation continues.
