PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. (Feb. 24, 2010) - The Prince Frederick Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.
MALICIOUS DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: On February 16 at 4:30 p.m., Corporal Bennett responded to the 2000 block of Sequoia Way in Prince Frederick in reference to destruction of property. The victim's vehicle was scratched or "keyed" while it was parked in the driveway.
POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On February 17 at 10:59 p.m., Trooper First Class Donaldson stopped a vehicle for traffic violations on Route 4 north of Rt. 2 in Sunderland. The driver, Benjamin D. McDowell, 39 of Lusby, was arrested for possession of Marijuana after he tried to hide Marijuana in the vehicle during the traffic stop. He was incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.
POSSESSION OF CDS PARAPHERNALIA: On February 20 at 9:04 p.m., Trooper Bender received a call for a reported assault in the 800 block of Calvert Towne Drive in Prince Frederick. During the investigation, drug paraphernalia was observed in the residence. Jeremy J. Uber, 24 of Prince Frederick was arrested and charged with 2nd degree assault, possession of Marijuana and Possession of CDS Paraphernalia. He was incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.
THEFT FROM VEHICLES: On February 22 at 4:15 a.m., Trooper First Class Donaldson responded to the 11200 block of Country Road in Dunkirk for a reported theft. Investigation revealed that two victims on Country Road had their vehicles entered during the night. A garage door opener and a camera were stolen.
THEFT OF VEHICLE TAG: On February 22 at 11:30 a.m., Trooper Lewis stopped a vehicle for traffic violations on Route 4 at Route 2. The registration plate was identified as a stolen plate from Anne Arundel County. Brian T. Jackson, 25 of Lusby was placed under arrest and charged with theft. He was incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.
