PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. (March 02) - The Prince Frederick Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.
POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On February 24 at 12:39 p.m., Trooper Wyer stopped a vehicle for traffic violations on Gunsmoke Trail at Thunderbird Drive in Lusby. An odor of Marijuana was detected and a search of the vehicle was conducted. The driver, Jeremy M. Nadzadi, 30 of Lusby, was arrested for possession of Marijuana. He was incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.
CONCEALED WEAPONS, DRUG PARAPHERNALIA: On February 27 at 10:31 a.m., Trooper First Class Wiersma stopped a vehicle matching the description of a look-out vehicle from a disturbance call traveling on Dares Beach Road in Prince Frederick. The driver, John E. Lawrence, 44 of White Plains, was arrested for possessing brass knuckles, a concealed knife and drug paraphernalia. He was incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.
THEFT: On February 27 at 11:56 p.m., Trooper Logsdon responded to Jaspers Restaurant in Prince Frederick for a reported theft. The victim reported that a cell phone, Virginia Driver's License and some cash had been removed from her coat while in the restaurant. The investigation is continuing.
POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On March 1 at 6:19 p.m., Trooper Wyer stopped a vehicle for traffic violation on Route 4 at Bowie Shop Road in Huntingtown. A search of the vehicle revealed marijuana and a glass smoking device. Markas R. Jarboe, 19 of Huntingtown, was arrested and incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.
