LEONARDTOWN, Md. (March 04, 2010) - The Leonardtown Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.
WARRANT SERVICE: On Wednesday, March 3 at 5:50 pm, Grant Hamilton Davis, 23, of Waldorf was arrested by Tpr. M. J. Pitcher on a Bench Warrant (T3-14325) for Failing to Appear in the District Court in Leonardtown on February 19, 2010. The original charges were Driving on a Suspended License and Driving without the required authorization. Mr. Davis turned himself in and was taken to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
THEFT UNDER $100: On Wednesday, March 3 at 6:52 pm, Tpr. M. J. Pitcher responded to the JC Penney store for the reported Theft in Progress. Upon arrival, contact was made with the suspect, Joseph Matthew Queen, Jr., 18, of California, as he was exiting the store. Contact was also made with the Loss Prevention Officer who advised Mr. Queen stole two sets of earrings, total value of $20.00. The stolen items were returned to the Loss Prevention Officer. Mr. Queen was taken into custody and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
