Section of Great Mills Road Shut Down Due to Gas Leak


LEONARDTOWN, Md. (April 7, 2010 3:00 p.m.)—Due to a gas leak, a section of Great Mills Road in St. Mary's County has been shut down while repairs are underway. Both directions from the intersection of Great Mills Road and Essex Road to Great Mills Road north of St. Mary's Square are closed.

Shops in St. Mary's Square in Lexington Park have been evacuated, according to a county government spokesperson.
