St. Mary's County BCI Police Reports


LEONARDTOWN, Md. (April 15, 2010) - The St. Mary's County Bureau of Criminal Investigations (BCI) today released the following incident and arrest reports. BCI is an investigative team comprised of detectives from the St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office and the Maryland State Police, Leonardtown Barrack. The unit was established on July 1, 2003 and is based in Leonardtown.

SEX OFFENDER ADDRESS CHANGE VIOLATION: On April 14, during regular compliance checks of registered sex offenders, detectives from the BCI Sex Offender Registry Unit discovered Alexander Holly Gough, age 50, had moved from his address on Yorktown Road in Lexington Park to the 21000 block of Great Mills Road in Lexington Park. Gough failed to notify the Sex Offender Registry Unit of an address change within five days as required and was subsequently charged accordingly. Gough was incarcerated in the Detention Center pending a hearing before the District Court Commissioner.
