Andrews AFB Air Show May Mean Noisy Weekend for Some So. Marylanders

PATUXENT RIVER, Md. (May 12, 2010)—Officials at Naval Air Station Patuxent River are advising that residents of Southern Maryland may notice an increased number and variety of low flying aircraft in the area this weekend. Andrews Air Force Base is hosting a Joint Service Open House and Air Show this weekend, May 14 through May 16. Low flying aircraft may be seen and heard in the Southern Maryland skies as aircrews use the area for staging prior to their performances.
