MSP Reports for St. Mary's County


LEONARDTOWN, Md. (May 28, 2010) - The Leonardtown Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) released the following incident and arrest reports.

BURGLARY, MOTOR VEHICLE THEFT: On Saturday, May 22 at 1:17pm, Tpr. E. J. Page responded to the 36000 block of Sandy Lane in Bushwood for a reported burglary and motor vehicle theft. Upon arrival, contact was made with the female complainant, 54, of Washington, D.C. who advised sometime between October of 2009 and May 8 the unoccupied residence was burglarized. The complainant advised that along with personal items a Light Blue Ford Contour was also removed from the property without permission. This investigation is ongoing; any information may be forwarded to the Maryland State Police Leonardtown Barrack.

ASSAULT 2ND DEGREE: On Sunday, May 23 at 3:35am, TFC M. A. Moore responded to the 29000 block of Three Notch Road in Mechanicsville for a reported assault. Upon arrival, contact was made with Tamara Elizabeth Higgs, 41, of Mechanicsville who advised she was involved in a dispute with the female complainant, 46, of Mechanicsville. Interviews with Ms. Higgs and the complainant determined Ms. Higgs was the aggressor in the dispute. Ms. Higgs was arrested for Second Degree Assault and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where she will be held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

DRUG ARREST: On Monday, May 24 at 2:21pm, Tpr. N. E. Gresko conducted a traffic stop on a Red Ford Mustang in the area of Maryland Route 4 and Oak Drive in California. Tpr. Gresko made contact with the driver, Travis Montgomery Barrowclough, 19, of Lusby for a traffic violation. A consent search of the vehicle produced Marijuana and other CDS Paraphernalia. Mr. Barrowclough was arrested for Possession of CDS and CDS Paraphernalia and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he will be held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Monday, May 24 at 9:00pm, Tpr. J. C. Hardesty served an Arrest Warrant (T3-14118) on James Hall, 43, of Lexington Park. The warrant was issued in September of 2009 for Reckless Endangerment. Mr. Hall was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and will be held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

DRUG ARREST: On Tuesday, May 25 at 1:18am, TFC K. D. Lashley conducted a traffic stop on a 2010 Lincoln in the area of Maryland Route 4 and Patuxent Boulevard in California. TFC Lashley made contact with the Driver of the vehicle, 28, of Lusby and the passenger who identified himself as Daniel Lee Delahoussaye, 20, of Lusby and advised of the nature of the stop. During the initial contact TFC Lashley's observation resulted in a probably cause search of the vehicle. Subsequently Mr. Delahoussaye was arrested for Possession of CDS and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. Mr. Delahoussaye will be held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Tuesday, May 25 at 12:25pm, TFC C. M. Evans arrested Joseph Eckloff, 27, of Great Mills on a Bench Warrant (T3-14439) issued by the District Court in St. Mary's County on May 21. The original charge was Driving On A Suspended License. Mr. Eckloff was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and will be held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Tuesday, May 25 at 12:55pm, TFC M.B. Adams served an Arrest Warrant (T3-14441) on Aaron Christopher Bankins, 20, of Lexington Park. The warrant was issued by the District Court of St. Mary's County on May 20. The original charges were Second Degree Assault and Disorderly Conduct. Mr. Bankins is being held at the St. Mary's County Detention Center pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Tuesday, May 25 at 1:45pm, Tpr. N. E. Gresko arrested Patricia Marie McMichael, 27, of Hughesville on a Bench Warrant (T3-14445)issued on May 21. The warrant was issued by the District Court of St. Mary's County for Driving Without a Required License. Ms. McMichael was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and will be held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Tuesday, May 25 at 8:20pm, Joseph Darren Royster, 25, of Waldorf turned himself into the Maryland State Police Barrack for an outstanding warrant. Mr. Royster was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and served a Bench Warrant (T3-14395) issued by District Court of St. Mary's County on April 9. The original charge was Driving On A Suspended License. Mr. Royster will be held at the Detention Center pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Wednesday, May 26 at 10:15am, TFC C. M. Evans arrested Joseph Patrick Ellis, 31, on an Arrest Warrant (T3-14446) for Theft Scheme less then $1000.00. The warrant was issued by the District Court in St. Mary's County on May 24. Mr. Ellis was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and will be held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

RESISTING ARREST: On Wednesday, May 26 at 5:00pm, Tpr. J. S. Gibson responded to the 49000 block of Halsey Court in California for a reported fight in progress. Upon arrival, contact was made with suspected participant in the fight, Alan James Lincoln, 18, of California. Mr. Lincoln advised he was involved in a verbal dispute with a male subject. Mr. Lincoln became disorderly and was placed under arrest by Tpr. Gibson but continued to resist attempts to detain him. Mr. Lincoln was handcuffed and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. Mr. Lincoln was charged accordingly and will be held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Thursday, May 27 at 2:20am, Tpr. N. E. Gresko served a Bench Warrant (T3-14447) on Emily Sunhwa McNamara, 29, of Great Mills for Driving On A Suspended License. The warrant was issued on May 25 by the District Court of St. Mary's County. Ms. McNamara was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and will be held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Thursday, May 27 at 5:30am, Tpr. B. T. Wiesemann served a Bench Warrant (T3-14442) on Shameka L. Harrod, 18, of Lexington Park. The original charge was Second Degree Assault, and the warrant was issued on May 24 by the District Court in St. Mary's County. Ms. Harrod was transferred to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and will be held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
