MSP Reports for St. Mary's County


LEONARDTOWN, Md. (Aug. 2, 2010) - The Leonardtown Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Thursday, July 29 at 7:30am, TFC G. A. Thompson served an arrest warrant (T3-14384) on Cynthia Diane King, 42, of an unknown fixed address. The warrant was issued on March 31 by the District Court of St. Mary's County with an original charge of Second Degree Assault. Ms. King was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and will be held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Thursday, July 29 at 1:20pm, TFC N. E. Gresko, served a bench warrant (T3-14526 / T31427) on Ajoke Kendra Iroko, 49, of Lanham. The warrants were originally issued on February 25 by the District Court of Calvert County for Driving on a Suspended License and Driving Without Authorization. Ms. Iroko was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and will be held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Thursday, July 29 at 1:40pm, TFC M. J. Pitcher arrested Allen Dale Windsor, Jr., 32, of Clements, on an outstanding arrest warrant (T3-14520). The warrant was issued on July 23 by the District Court of St. Mary's County with an original charge of Fourth Degree Burglary. Mr. Windsor was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and will be held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Friday, July 30 at 9:09am, Tpr. B. T. Wiesemann arrested David Kelton Starks, 51, of Waldorf, in the area of Maryland Route 5 and Maryland Route 235 on an outstanding bench warrant (T3-14528). The warrant was issued on July 26 by the District Court in Charles County with an original charge of Driving On A Suspended License. Mr. Starks was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and will be held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

FUGITIVE OTHER AREA: On Friday, July 30 at 5:26pm, TFC M. J. Pitcher initiated a traffic stop on Maryland Route 249 at Hewitt Road on a white Oldsmobile for a traffic violation. Upon making contact with the driver, a METERS/NCIC query revealed that Nicholas David Johnson, 24, of Leonardtown, had an outstanding warrant through Missouri. Following confirmation of the warrant status and extradition guidelines, Mr. Johnson was arrested and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. Mr. Johnson will be held pending arrangements with originating agency for service or extradition.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Friday, July 30 at 7:00pm, TFC M. J. Pitcher arrested Sherman L. Mackall, 50, of Annapolis on a bench warrant (T3-14224) issued by the District Court of St. Mary's County. The warrant was issued on December 1, 2009 with an original charge of Driving Under the Influence, Driving While Impaired, and Driving on Revoked Privileges. Mr. Mackall was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and will be held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

DRUG ARREST: On Saturday, July 31 at 10:14am, TFC N. E. Gresko initiated a traffic stop in the area of Maryland Route 5 and Baptist Church Road on a maroon Chevrolet for a traffic violation. Upon making contact with the driver, George Norman Hill, 26, of California, TFC Gresko detected the odor of burnt marijuana emitting from the vehicle. A subsequent probable cause search was met with negative results, however, a check of the area where Mr. Hill exited the vehicle revealed Marijuana. Ownership of the CDS was determined and Mr. Hill was arrested for Possession of Marijuana and CDS Paraphernalia. Mr. Hill was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and will be held pending a bond review with District Court Commissioner.
