LA PLATA, Md. (March 14, 2011) — The North Point High School varsity boys’ basketball team secured the Maryland Class 4A state championship title on Saturday, March 12, in a finals game held at Comcast Center at the University of Maryland College Park.
The team triumphed over Patterson Park High School from Baltimore County with a score of 76 to 72. The Eagles team finished their overall season undefeated with a 27 to zero record.
