MSP Reports for St. Mary's County


LEONARDTOWN, Md. (October 26, 2011)—The Leonardtown Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) released the following incident and arrest reports.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Tuesday, October 18 at 3:30am, TFC J. S. Gibson served a Bench Warrant (T3-15106) on Robert Michael Stehman, 27, of Hollywood. The warrant was issued with an original charge of Driving An Uninsured Vehicle by the District Court of Calvert County on August 19. Mr. Stehman was located in the 23000 block of Huckleberry Way in Hollywood and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. He was served and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Thursday, October 20 at 6:52am, TFC M. J. Pitcher served a Bench Warrant (T3-15180) on Caitlyn M. Reese, 22, of Waldorf. The warrant was issued for Ms. Reese's arrest on October 18 with an original charge of CDS Possession - Not Marijuana. Ms. Reese located in the 3400 block of C. Violet Place. She was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Friday, October 21 at 3:45pm, TFC B. T. Wiesemann served an Arrest Warrant for a Fugitive on John Joseph McClure, 47, of Stanley, Virginia. The warrant was issued as a result of Mr. McClure being a Fugitive from Justice - Virginia. The warrant was issued on October 21 by the District Court of St. Mary's County. Mr. McClure was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center after being located on a traffic stop. He was held pending a bond review and extradition to the appropriate authorities in Virginia.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: On Friday, October 21 at 5:30pm, TFC S. M. Van Bennekum was on the scene of a motor vehicle accident when he observed Amanda Lynn Abell-Morgan, 29, of Valley Lee approach a male subject and create a scene with loud and obscene comments. TFC Van Bennekum instructed Ms. Abell-Morgan to vacate the scene multiple times, after she became a distraction to both Law Enforcement and EMS personnel on the scene. Ms. Abell-Morgan's failure to obey instructions resulted in her being arrested for Disorderly Conduct and Hindering the Lawful Duties of a Police Officer. Ms. Abell-Morgan was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where she was charged and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Sunday, October 23 at 8:07am, TFC J. A. Pilkerton served a Bench Warrant (T3-15172) on Victor Dwayne Briscoe, 33, of Lexington Park. The warrant was issued on September 30 with an original charge of Driving Without Required License by the District Court of Carroll County. Mr. Briscoe was located and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was served and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
