MSP Reports for Calvert County


PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. (February 21, 2012)—The Prince Frederick Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On 2/13/2012 at 7:10 pm, Trooper First Class Dawson responded to the Prince Frederick McDonalds for a report of a suspicious vehicle. Contact was made with the vehicle and its occupants and a search of the vehicle revealed that passenger, Michael S. Collins, 18 of Owings, was in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. He was arrested and incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: On 2/15/2012 at 7:27 am, Sr. Trooper Johns responded to the 5300 block of Forest Trail in St. Leonard for a reported destruction of property. Tires were slashed on a vehicle. Investigation continues.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On 2/16/2012 at 8:17 am, Trooper First Class Lewis stopped a vehicle for traffic violations on Rt. 4 north of Ferry Landing Rd. in Dunkirk. A strong odor of marijuana was emitting from within the vehicle. A search revealed that Jeremiah S. Mason, 25 of Lusby in possession of marijuana. He was arrested and incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

DUI, POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On 2/18/2012 at 3:20 am, Trooper S. Lewis stopped a vehicle on Rt. 261 in Chesapeake Beach for traffic violations. The driver, Morgan C. Lamack, 21 of Chesapeake Beach, was arrested for DUI and a search revealed that she was in possession of marijuana. She was arrested and incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On 2/18/2012 at 10:58 am, Trooper First Class Lewis stopped a vehicle on Rt. 4 near Yellow Bank Rd. in Dunkirk for traffic violations. A search of the vehicle revealed Marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Garland K. Turner, Jr., 19 of Luray, Va., was arrested and incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

THEFT: On 2/19/2012 at 4:05 pm, Trooper Casarella responded to the Kmart Store in Prince Frederick for a shoplifting complaint. Unique A. Stokes, 18 of Lusby and a juvenile were both arrested for shoplifting. The juvenile was released to parents and Ms. Stokes was incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: On 2/19/2012 at 5:28 pm, Trooper Casarella responded to the 1000 block of Carson Dr. in Huntingtown for a reported destruction of property. A light pole and mailbox were destroyed. A county road sign was also stolen. Investigation continues.
