SOLOMONS ISLAND, Md. (10 March 2012) – The Maryland Natural Resources Police are investigating the unattended death of a person found on a small boat. At 10:00 am, Saturday, March 10, Conrad H. Neuf Jr., 85 from Leesburg, Virginia was found deceased in a small boat next to his sailboat in Zahniser’s Marina, Solomons Island. Neuf was found by marina employees during the morning’s inspection of the marina.
Foul play is not suspected in the case.
Neuf’s body was transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore for autopsy. NRP’s Special Operations Division is continuing the investigation.
