MSP Reports for St. Mary's County


LEONARDTOWN, Md. (July 16, 2012)—The Leonardtown Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Thursday, July 12, at 9:30am, TFC N. Gresko served at Bench Warrant (T3-15594) on James Robert Kolbe, 22, of Charlotte Hall. The warrant was issued by the Circuit Court of St. Mary's County for Violation of Probation with an original charge of CDS Possession with Intent To Distribute on July 9. Mr. Kolbe was located and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. He was served and held pending a bond review by the Court Commissioner.

DRUG ARREST: On Thursday, July 12, at 4:24pm, TFC R. Jackson conducted a traffic stop on a red Volkswagen sedan on Hermanville Road, in the area of Dixon Court in Lexington Park for a traffic violation. Upon approaching the vehicle, TFC Jackson positively identified the operator as Nicholas Maclean Mesmer, 18, of Lexington Park. While on the traffic stop, TFC Jackson detected the strong odor of burnt CDS emitting from the vehicle. A probable cause search of the vehicle revealed both CDS and CDS Paraphernalia. Mr. Mesmer was arrested and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. He was charged accordingly and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Friday, July 13, at 9:10am, TFC J. Gibson served an Arrest Warrant (T3-15595) on Robert Andrew Woods, 21, of Great Mills. The warrant was issued by the District Court of St. Mary's County with an original charge of Fugitive of Justice on July 13. Mr. Woods was located at his address and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. He was served and held pending extradition from Virginia.

TRESPASSING: On Sunday, July 15, at 12:30am, TFC E. Evans responded to Sears, located at 23415 Three Notch Road, California, for the report of subjects on the roof of the establishment. Upon arrival and with the assistance of Bay District Company 9, TFC Evans was able to gain access to the roof and locate five subjects. TFC Evans was able to positively identify all five subjects as Alicia Ann Eller, 20, of Mechanicsville, Kieran Allan Hayes, 26, of Mechanicsville, Kyle Patrick Mora, 26, of California, Mark Allen Scheiner, 26, of Great Mills, and James Warren Kilpatrick, 27, of Hagerstown. All five were charged on a criminal citation with Trespassing and released from the scene with a mandatory court date.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Sunday, July 15, at 6:33pm, TFC M. Moore served a Bench Warrant (T3-15586) on Frederick Howard Bowles, 30, of Avenue. The warrant was issued by the District Court of St. Mary's County with an original charge of Driving while Suspended on July 11. Mr. Bowles was located and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. He was served and held pending a bond review by the District Court Commissioner.
