MSP Reports for Calvert County


PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. (October 9, 2012)—The Prince Frederick Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On 10/03/2012 at 7:06 am, Trooper First Class Logsdon responded to the parking lot on the corner of Duke Street and Main Street in Prince Frederick for a reported fight in progress. Troopers made contact with Gary S. Mason, 33 of Lexington Park, who stated that he and his girlfriend had been arguing, but she has since left the scene. During the encounter with Mason, Troopers found that he was in possession of Marijuana. Mason was arrested and incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

THEFT FROM VEHICLE: On 10/3/2012 at 10:32 pm, Trooper First Class Merkelson responded to the 4200 block of Bristol Dr. in Chesapeake Beach for a reported theft from a vehicle. A toolbox containing numerous tools was stolen from the bed of the victim's truck while parked in the driveway. Investigation continues.
