MSP Reports for Calvert County


PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. (November 6, 2012)—The Prince Frederick Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.

THEFT: On 10/29/2012 @ 9:09 am, Trooper Oles responded to the 11400 block of HG Trueman Rd. in Lusby for a reported theft. A Sun-L 125 red & white dirt bike was stolen from the victim's garage. Investigation continues.

POSSESSION OF ALPRAZOLAM: On 10/30/2012 at 2:28 pm, Trooper First Class Esnes stopped a vehicle for traffic violations on Whispering Pine Circle at Catalina Dr. in Lusby. Ryan M. Refitt, 27 of Lusby, was placed under arrest for driving on a revoked license. He also possessed Oxycodone and Alprazolam for which he did not have a prescription. He was incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

THEFT FROM VEHICLE: On 10/30/2012 at 10:24 am, Trooper First Class Logsdon responded to the 6300 block of 15th Street in Chesapeake Beach for a reported theft from vehicles. Several unlocked vehicles were entered and items were stolen. Stolen items include; an Ipod, a New Jersey license, an Air Force ID card, money, and a pair of gloves. Investigation continues.

POSSESSION OF HEROIN AND BURGLARY: On 11/1/2012 at 5:05 pm, Senior Trooper Gill responded to the area of the Calvert Deli to locate a suspect who had left the 7-11 without paying for coffee. Craig R. McDaniel, 27, of Prince Frederick was located. During the course of the investigation, McDaniel was found to be in possession of heroin and prescription medication. He was arrested and incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

At 8:40 pm, Trooper First Class West responded to the Holiday Inn in Prince Frederick for a disorderly complaint. McDaniel was again found to be in possession of Heroin and drug paraphernalia. He was arrested and incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

On 11/2/2012 at 5:47 pm, Trooper First Class West performed a patrol check of the vacant business (Formerly Jaspers) on Sherry Lane in Prince Frederick. McDaniel and Brandon R. Howser, 25 of Huntingtown, were discovered living inside a storage shed attached to the building. The suspects had broken the door to the shed and were using electricity to power a space heater and other miscellaneous electronic devices. They were both arrested and incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

ASSAULT AND DISORDERLY CONDUCT: On 11/2/2012 at 8:12 am, Trooper First Class Williams responded to the Chesapeake Auction House in St. Leonard for a report of a disorderly person. Kevin D. Clarke, 59 of St. Leonard, was contacted by the Trooper and began screaming obscenities and acting disorderly. He also attempted to strike the Trooper. Clarke was subsequently placed under and incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

Daniel C. LIEBSCHUTZ, 40, of Lexington Park, arrested on 11/03/2012 @ 01:54 am by TFC B. Wiesemann

Rhonda J. WILKERSON, 34, of Chesapeake Beach, arrested on 11/04/2012 @ 12:33 am by TFC M. Gill

Garn T. GODWIN, 4th, 52, of Chesapeake Beach, arrested on 11/04/2012 @ 01:31 am by TFC W. Smith
