BURGLARY: On April 22 between 9 a.m. - 12:15 p.m., unknown suspect(s) kicked in the side door of a house in the 1000 block of Stone Avenue in Waldorf and stole video games and computers. POI C. Garner is investigating.

HOME INVASION: On April 24 at 4:45 a.m., officers responded to the 7400 block of Leonardtown Road in Hughesville for the report of a home invasion. A preliminary investigation showed the victim and his girlfriend were in their house along with their five-year-old child. Three suspects kicked in a door and, at gunpoint, demanded money. The suspects fled after the robbery in a white SUV. The victims called 9-1-1 and provided a description of the suspect's vehicle. Responding officers spotted the SUV and initiated a traffic stop. The driver initially pulled over, but fled as the officer approached. Officers pursued the SUV to the area of Mt. Rainier in Prince George's County where they lost sight of the vehicle. No one was injured in this case. Investigators are working on leads to identify the suspects. At this point, the robbery does not appear to be a random act and it appears the victims' house was specifically targeted. The investigation is on-going.
