WASHINGTON (Aug. 7, 2013)—The U.S. Department of Defense this week announced the following contract award that pertain to local Navy activities.
ERAPSCO, Columbia City, Ind., is being awarded a $7,229,916 modification to a previously awarded firm-fixed-price contract (N00421-11-C-0030) to exercise an option for the procurement of 9,400 AN/SSQ-53F Sonobuoys for the U.S. Navy. Work will be performed in Columbia City, Ind. (50 percent) and DeLeon Springs, Fla. (50 percent), and is expected to be completed in April 2015. Fiscal 2013 Other Procurement, Navy contract funds in the amount of $7,229,916 are being obligated on this award, none of which will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.
