MSP Reports for St. Mary's Co.


LEONARDTOWN, Md. (Feb. 21, 2014)—The Leonardtown Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.

DRUG ARREST: On Thursday, February 6, 2014 at 9:22 pm, TFC R. Jackson initiated a traffic stop on a gray passenger car on Route 235 at Airport Road for a minor traffic infraction. A probable cause search of the vehicle was conducted, resulting in the recovery of CDS. James Gerald Bokalitz, 43, of Hollywood was arrested and charged with Possession of CDS: Marijuana, Possession of CDS Paraphernalia, and Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. He was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

DRUG ARREST: On Friday, February 14, 2014 at 12:19 pm, TFC M. Pitcher initiated a traffic stop on a silver SUV on Route 235 at Mervell Dean Road for a minor traffic infraction. The driver, Matthew Martin Junkins, 33, of Lexington Park informed TFC Pitcher that he had CDS in the vehicle and produced a small amount of CDS. A search of the vehicle produced a large quantity of marijuana and a digital scale. Mr. Junkins was subsequently arrested and charged with CDS Possess With Intent To Distribute, Possession of CDS: Marijuana, and Possession of CDS: Paraphernalia. He was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

DRUG ARREST: On Sunday, February 16, 2014 at 2:10 pm, TFC N. Gresko initiated a traffic stop on a blue passenger car on Route 235 at Baptist Church Road for a minor traffic infraction. The driver, Ellen Faye Ross, 19, of Pittsburgh, PA, informed TFC Gresko that she had CDS in the vehicle. Ms. Ross was subsequently arrested and charged with Possession of CDS: Marijuana. She was transported to the Maryland State Police Leonardtown Barrack and later released.

Timothy Thomas Welch, 34, of Lexington Park, arrested on 2/19/2014 at 2:25 am for Failure to Appear in court by TFC E. Mersman.

Brian Edward Simpson, 40, of Hollywood, arrested on 2/15/2014 at 2:26 am for Theft Less than $100 and Failure to Appear in court by TFC R. Jackson.

Roshaundra Davenna Dyson, 27, of Lexington Park, arrested on 2/18/2014 at 9:20 am for Failure to Appear in court by Senior Trooper E. Evans.

Kevin Michael Willis, 29, of Hollywood, arrested on 2/16/14 at 1:15 pm for Failure to Appear in court by TFC S. Ditoto.

Jeremy Donald Overby, 22, of Lothian, arrested on 2/15/2014 at 12:00 pm for Failure to Appear in court by TFC S. Ditoto.
