NAVAL AIR STATION PATUXENT RIVER, Md. (Sept. 15, 2014)—On Thursday, Sept. 18, Capt. Heidi Fleming assumes command of the naval air station (NAS) from Capt. Benjamin Shevchuk during a ceremony that starts at 2 p.m. in hangar 110.
Fleming has served as the NAS's executive officer since April 2013. Capt. Shevchuk has served as the commanding officer since April 2013.
