MSP Reports for St. Mary's Co.


LEONARDTOWN, Md. (Nov. 18, 2015)—The Leonardtown Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) released the following incident and arrest reports.

ASSAULT: On Monday, November 2, 2015 at 1:46 am, TFC Ruth responded to the 46000 block of Midway Drive for a reported assault. Upon arrival it was determined that Raqelle Dashawn Robinson, 23, of Lexington Park, and Latonya Iesha Hopewell, 36, of Lexington Park, had assaulted the victim. The case remains open pending further investigation. (15-MSP-040208)

DRUG ARREST: On Tuesday, November, 3, 2015 at 1:41 pm, TFC Pitcher observed Richard Emmanuel Guy, 31, of Lexington Park, operating a vehicle on Airport View Drive. Mr. Guy had an open arrest warrant for Theft Less than $100. Mr. Guy was placed under arrest for the open warrant and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center for processing. During a search at the Detention Center a dollar bill containing cocaine and a straw was located in Mr. Guy's wallet. Mr. Guy was additionally charged with Possession of Cocaine and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner. (15-MSP-040399)

ASSAULT: On Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at 11:35 am, Senior Trooper Evans responded to the 21000 block of Luca Way for a reported assault. Investigation revealed that Charles Edward Dansford, 42, of Lexington Park, had assaulted a juvenile victim during a dispute. The case remains open pending further investigation. (15-MSP-040535)

ASSAULT: On Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at 12:29 pm, TFC C. Ditoto responded to the 26000 block of Three Notch Road for a reported assault. Upon arrival, Barbara Ilene Mcnair, 64, of Lexington Park, and Joseph Louis Herbert, 59, of Lexington Park, were alleging each was assaulted by the other. During the investigation a small amount of marijuana was observed in plain view in the residence. Ms. Mcnair and Mr. Herbert were issued a civil citation for the possession of marijuana less than 10 grams. The case remains open pending further investigation. (15-MSP-040544)

THEFT, MDOP: On Thursday, November 5, 2015 at 4:15 pm, Tpr Mulhearn and Tpr Capranica responded to the 21000 block of Suwanne Place for a reported theft and destruction of property. The victim advised that Miriam Rachel Lorenson, 34, of Lexington Park, entered the residence, kicked in a bedroom door, and removed several items of value totaling $7000. The case remains open pending further investigation. (15-MSP-040759)

THEFT, DRUG ARREST, DISORDERLY: On Monday, November 9, 2015 at 2:30 pm, TFC Pitcher and Tpr. Manning responded to the Walmart located in California, MD for a reported theft. Investigation revealed that Rebecca Lyn Longley, 29, of Hollywood, had stolen several items. Ms. Longley was placed under arrest for Theft over $100. A search incident to arrest of Ms. Longley revealed numerous prescription pills in several locations on her person and in her property. During the investigation, David Thomas Dillow, 30, of Hollywood, began to bang on the Loss Prevention office door. Mr. Dillow was acting in a disorderly manner and yelling inside the store. TFC Pitcher and Tpr Manning advised Mr. Dillow to stop and leave the store several times. After numerous attempts to have Mr. Dillow leave the store, he complied. However, while Mr. Dillow was exiting the store he began to yell profanities in front of several other customers. Mr. Dillow was contacted outside the store and was placed under arrest. While attempting to place handcuffs on Mr. Dillow, he began to actively resist. After being taken into custody it was determine he was in the store with Ms. Longley. Ms. Longley has a current Protective Order against Mr. Dillow. Ms. Longley was charged with Theft over $100 and Possession of a Controlled Substance. Mr. Dillow was charged with Violating a Protective Order, Disorderly Conduct, Resisting Arrest, and Fail to Obey a Lawful Order. Both were issued notices not to trespass at the Walmart. Ms. Longley and Mr. Dillow were transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner. (15-MSP-041356 and 15-MSP-041358)

THEFT: On Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at 5:50 pm, TFC Pitcher responded to Walmart, located in California, for the report of a theft. Investigation revealed that Drew Thomas Ploise, 22, of Lexington Park, and a 17-year-old female juvenile had stolen several items from the store. The juvenile was charged on a juvenile release and released to a guardian. Mr. Ploise was charged on a criminal citation and released. Both were issued notices not to trespass at the Walmart. ASSAULT: On November 10, 2015, Tpr Varesko responded to the area of Oregon Way and Buckshot Way, Lexington Park, for the reported disturbance. Investigation revealed that Jackie Perkins, 51, of Lexington Park, had been involved in a domestic dispute and assaulted the victim. The case remains open pending further investigation. WEAPONS VIOLATION: On Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at 12:14 pm, Tpr. Capranica and Cpl. Pilkerton initiated a traffic stop on a white passenger car on MD Route 5 at Thompson Corner Road for a minor traffic violation. The driver, Nikolas Patrick Hughes, 17, of Leonardtown, and passenger, Kevin Jerome Graham, 21, of Lexington Park, were asked to exit the vehicle for a probable cause search. While waiting for additional units, Mr. Hughes fled on foot. Several patrol units checked the area for Mr. Hughes, but were unsuccessful. A probable cause search was conducted, resulting in the recovery of a handgun, 3 rifles, and a shotgun. Further investigation revealed that the firearms were stolen from a residence in Leonardtown, and an additional black handgun with a wooden grip has not been recovered. The passenger, Mr. Graham, was placed under arrest and charged with various weapons related charges. Contact was made with the State's Attorney's Office, who advised to charge Mr. Hughes as an adult. An active warrant was issued, charging Mr. Hughes with Handgun in Vehicle, Handgun on Person, Possession of a Firearm/Minor, Registered Firearm: Stolen/Sell ect, Theft $1,000 to $10,000, and traffic charges. Mr. Hughes is a 17-year-old black male, 5'11", 162 lbs. Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Mr. Hughes is asked to call the Maryland State Police Duty Officer at 301-475-8955. ASSAULT: On Friday, November 13, 2015 at 2:44 pm, Tpr. C. Ditoto responded to St. Mary's MedStar Hospital for a reported assault. Investigation revealed that a juvenile male, 15, of Lexington Park had assaulted a 16-year-old juvenile in the cafeteria at Great Mills High School. Tpr. Ditoto then responded to a residence in Lexington Park and arrested the suspect for Assault Second Degree. The juvenile was transported to the Maryland State Police Leonardtown Barrack for processing. Contact was made with the juvenile's Probation Officer, who advised that the incident had violated the terms of his probation. The juvenile was then transported to the Youth Detention Center in Cheltenham. (15-MSP-041992)
