LEONARDTOWN, Md. (Dec. 28, 2015)—The Leonardtown Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.

ASSAULT: On December 22, 2015 at 6:18 pm, Tpr. Geyer responded to the 26000 block of Morganza Turner Road for a reported assault. The male victim advised that a male suspect had pushed him on the ground and kicked him numerous times. Case remains open pending further investigation. (15-MSP-047837)

DISORDERLY: On December 22, 2015 at 8:24 pm, Tpr. Mulhearn responded to the Leonardtown Library for a reported disorderly subject. The complainant advised that Daniel Boone Spangle, 49, of Glen Burnie, yelled profanities and obscenities towards the complainant when asked to leave the library. A criminal summons was issued for Mr. Spangle and served on December 26, 2015. (15-MSP-047854)

DRUG ARREST: On December 23, 2015 at 1:42 am, Tpr. Coppendge responded to Dandelion Drive and Corriander Court in Mechanicsville to assist an off-duty Charles County Deputy. The Deputy advised he made contact with the suspect, Christopher William Spak, 25, of Lakewood, CO, at the beginning of the neighborhood. Mr. Spak removed mason jars from his pockets containing suspected marijuana. Mr. Spak was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. He was charged with CDS Possession with the Intent to Distribute, CDS Marijuana over 10 grams, and CDS Paraphernalia. He was held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner. THEFT: On December 24, 2015 at 4:31 pm, Tpr. Mulhearn responded to the Wal-Mart in California for a reported theft. The complaintant advised that he had witnessed the suspects, Stacey Lynn Goode, 38, of Callaway, and Renee Love Schwartz, 39, of Lexington Park, place several items into their bags and attempt to leave the store. Ms. Goode and Ms. Schwartz were issued Criminal Citations for Theft: Less than $100. Both suspects were issued a "Notice Not to Trespass" at the Wal-Mart. (15-MSP-048125)

ASSAULT: On December 25, 2015 at 4:45 am, TFC Regina responded to the 46000 block of Sue Drive in Lexington Park for a reported assault. The male victim advised that a male suspect had struck him in the face with a closed fist, causing him to fall down five wooden steps onto the ground. Case remains open pending further investigation. (15-MSP-048179)

ASSAULT: On December 25, 2015 at 11:08 pm, Tpr. Geyer responded to the 45000 block of Foxchase Drive in Lexington Park for a reported assault. The female victim advised that Larry Matthew Thomas, 31, of Lexington Park, had grabbed her throat and slammed her head against the wall. Three juveniles also witnessed the assault. Mr. Thomas was placed under arrest for Second Degree Assault and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. He was held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner (15-MSP-048255)

ASSAULT: On December 26, 2015 at 12:30 am, Tpr. Couter responded to the 24000 block of Beck Road for a reported assault. The male victim advised a female suspect struck him in the head with her hand and then began to chase the victim with a knife. Case remains open pending further investigation. (15-MSP-048269)
