PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. (June 29, 2016)—The Prince Frederick Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.

POSSESSION OF AMPHETAMINES: On 6/20/2016 at 7:37 pm, Trooper First Class Costello stopped a vehicle on Rt 4 at MF Bowen Rd. in Huntingtown for traffic violations. TFC Costello requested a K-9 scan of the vehicle, which resulted in a positive alert for the presence of narcotics. A probable cause search was conducted and Amphetamine and Dextroamphetamine pills were found. Brandon M. Cornwell, 22, of Huntingtown was arrested and incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

THEFT, POSSESSION OF ALPRAZOLAM: On 6/21/2016 at 2:07 pm, Trooper First Class Lewis responded to the WaWa Convenience Store in Prince Frederick for a shoplifting complaint. Salvatore N. Galladoro, 37 of Prince Frederick, was arrested for theft. A search incident to the arrest revealed the stolen items as well as Alprazolam for which Galladoro did not have a prescription. He was incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

FIRST DEGREE ASSAULT, THEFT: On 6/24/2016 at 7:03 pm, Trooper First Class Matthews responded to the 800 block of Calvert Towne Drive in Prince Frederick for an assault in progress. The victim reported while at Town and Country Liquors in Port Republic, he observed a black male remove cash that was sitting in their vehicle center console. They followed the suspect to Calvert Towne Dr. in an attempt to recover the money. The victim confronted the suspect and during the altercation the suspect swung a pick axe at the victim, which caused minor injury and minor damage to the victim's vehicle. Investigation continues.

THEFT: On 6/25/2016 at 9:58 am, Trooper First Class Rowe responded to the 5300 block of Chesapeake Avenue in St. Leonard for a reported theft. The victim advised that several items had been stolen from his residence to include approximately $1000 in cash. The victim reported having workers at the reisdence and believes they could possibly be the suspects. Attempts are being made to interview the workers. Investigation continues.

POSSESSION WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE MARIJUANA: On 6/26/2016 at 8:59 pm, Trooper First Class Matthews stopped a vehicle on Rt. 4 at Calvert Beach Rd. for traffic violations. A strong odor of marijuana was emitting from inside the vehicle. A probable cause search was conducted and a large quanitity of marijuana was located. A passenger in the vehicle, Kameron E. Nightingale, 26 of Sacramento, CA, claimed ownership of 162.5 grams of marijuana. He was arrested and incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.
