Thomas M. Swann, Jr. 49 of Cobb Island, Md. died on November 25, 2012 in Washington, DC. He was born on July 27, 1963 to Thomas M. Swann, Sr. and Evelyn Swann in La Plata, Md.

He is also survived by his wife Melinda Swann, daughters Ashley, Catherine, and Kimberly Swann, sister Linda Swann, grandchildren Madison Swann and Cheyenne Hart, a nephew Jonathan Swann and a niece Nikki Swann.

Thomas was an excavator working for Wand T. Trucking and a waterman. He enjoyed being on the water, spending time with his children and grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Friday November 30th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm with prayers at 6:30pm at the Arehart-Echols Funeral Home, La Plata, Md. Funeral services will be held on Saturday December 1st , 2pm at the Christ Church Wayside, Md. Interment to follow in the Church Cemetery.
