John (Jack) H. Edwards 90 of Newburg, Md. died on February 22, 2013.

He was the youngest son Harry E. and Bernadette Edwards born on July 25, 1922 in Wayside, Md. He graduated from Glasva High School. He was a retired farmer on the family farm at Banks O' Dee in Charles County.

In his younger years he was a former director of the Charles County Farm Bureau and a former judge of elections in the fifth district of Charles county.

He is survived by his wife Marguerite R. Edwards whom he married on May 10, 1953.

In addition to his parents he is predeceased by his two brothers Thomas C. Edwards and Harry S. Edwards, three sister's Joan M. Cox, Agnes Walter and Bernadette Toler.

He is also survived by many nieces and nephews all of whom he had a very special and close relationship with. Jack was a kind and gentle person and a very hard worker.

Visitation will be held at the Holy Ghost Church Issue, Md. on Wednesday February 27th from 10 to Mass time at 11 AM. Interment will follow at the Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Brian Rawlings, Patrick Thomas, Frank Swann, Willy Rawlings, Clarence "Bunky" Lloyd and Charles Rice.
