Daniel (Danny) Perry Larkin, III. 70 of Hollywood, MD passed away on April 29, 2021 at home under Hospice Care. Danny was born on September 10, 1950 in Sharon, Connecticut. His parents were the late Daniel Perry Larkin, Jr. and Dorothy DeVaux Larkin.

Danny proudly served the United States Navy, joining in 1968 and serving over 25 years. Retiring in May of 1993. His last duty station being VQ-4 Patuxent River, MD. After his retirement, Danny's Career led him to Hewitt's Service Center in California, MD as a Service Advisor for nearly 20 years.

After leaving Hewitt's he went on to get his CDL license and went to work for St. Mary's County Department of Public Works. Driving an STS bus for 11 years.

Danny loved watching Wheel of Fortune, Hallmark movies, and NASCAR. Danny loved playing the Maryland lottery.

Danny was predeceased by his parents and his wife Brenda. He is survived by his son Ricard P. Larkin (Ricky) of Leonardtown, MD. Sister in law Donna Walls (Kevin) of Quakertown, PA., Brother in laws Robert Herbert (Cheryl) of Mechanicsville, MD, Donald Gray of Lexington Park, MD. Along with his nieces Megan Walls of Gorham, ME, Jessica Reithmeyer (Jeremy) of Mechanicsville, MD. His nephews Andrew Walls of Quakertown, PA., Donald Gray of Great Mills, MD, Andrew Mills and Robert Herbert of Mechanicsville, MD.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 from 9:00 Am to 10:00 Am in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home Leonardtown, MD where a Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 Am in the Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Ammon Ripple officiating. Interment will follow in Charles Memorial Gardens Leonardtown, MD. Serving as pallbearers will be Andrew Walls, Megan Walls, Donald Gray, Andrew Mills, Jessica Reithmeyer, and Robert Herbert.

In lieu of flowers family would request donation be made to Hospice of St. Mary's P.O. Box 625 Leonardtown, MD 20650 and Hollywood Vol. Rescue Squad P.O. Box 79 Hollywood, MD 20659.
