Sandra Juanita Kirkpatrick, 83, of Lusby, Md. passed away on May 31, 2021 at her residence. Born January 29, 1938 in Cheverly, Md., she was the daughter of the late Henry Franklin Kirkpatrick and Catherine Frances (Goodwin) Kirkpatrick.

Sandra graduated from Northwestern High School in Hyattsville, Md. in 1956. She moved to Calvert County from Silver Spring, Md. in 2003. Sandra was a Claims Adjuster for the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority for forty five years, retiring in 2003. She enjoyed spending time with family, old television shows and movies, especially crime dramas and who done its, and reading books of all types.

Sandra is survived by her son, Michael Blaylock and his wife Nancy of Lusby, Md.; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, David Blaylock.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Rausch Funeral Home, 20 American Lane, Lusby, Md. 20657. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Father Ken Gill on Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, Solomons, Md. Interment will follow in Queen of Peace Cemetery, 38888 Dr. Johnson Road, Mechanicsville, Md. 20659.
