Richard "Robbie" Brian Robinson, 68, of La Plata, Maryland passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, February 18, 2024, at the University of Maryland Charles Regional Medical Center. Robbie was the second of three children born to Bert Paul Robinson and Helen Louise Robinson.

Robbie grew up in Waldorf, Maryland, and was a graduate of Blue Ridge School in St. George, Virginia. As a child, he played baseball on the Waldorf Little League. As a teen, his passion was motorcycles and that passion led to his lifelong career as a motorcycle and power equipment mechanic, most recently working at Atlantic Cycle & Power. He also raced flat-track motorcycles as an amateur in the American Motorcycle Association in the 1970s. He was an avid sports fan of the Washington Redskins/Commanders, Washington Capitals, Washington Nationals, NASCAR, Southern Maryland Blue Crabs, and all types of motorcycle racing. Another lifelong hobby was being an amateur photographer.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his aunt and uncle, Beverly and Samuel Secreto, his cousin, Elena Secreto, and his grandparents, Arthur and Elene Cutright, and Paul and Carroll Robinson.

He is survived by one daughter, Madison, his sisters, Karen Robertson and Paula Coluzzi (Frank), his aunt and uncle, Rosemary and David O'Hara, his cousins, Kevin O'Hara, Steven O'Hara, and Clint Secreto, his nieces, Bree Sciascia, Christa Loyer, and Nicolette Whitaker, and his nephew, Caelan Coluzzi.

Family will receive friends on Monday, February 26, 2024, from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., followed by the funeral at 4:00 p.m. at Brinsfield Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Road, Charlotte Hall, Maryland 20622. The funeral service will be officiated by The Right Reverend William McClean, Jr. Interment will be private.

Honorary pallbearers are Frank Coluzzi, Roland Coluzzi, Kevin Santiago, Ernie Herring, Ophus Landon Robertson, and Numa Robertson.
